Reggie // Male / One year / Patterdale Terrier

Patterdale Terrier Reggie is a resident at the RSPCA’s Coventry and District branch

Reggie is our very handsome boy who came into us through no fault of his own. Reggie is an extremely active lad who will require active owners who are keen to continue his positive reward based training and socialisation. Reggie does get distracted from training at times so his new owners will need to be enthusiastic and willing to look silly at times while doing work with him to keep him interested and engaged. Although he is very energetic and bouncy he does still have a sensitive side and can find some daunting situations and can need some reassurance so he would benefit from some confidence building and socialization at his pace. Reggie can be vocal around other dogs so ongoing distraction work to help this will be ongoing. His new family of him will need to be able to have areas or times of the day that they can walk him that they do not see many dogs. Reggie can live with children 8 years and over that are understanding and used to dogs. Reggie will need to be the only animal in the home and this includes no small animals and birds. He will require access to a secure and private garden with 6ft fencing that he can play and relax in.
