Plymouth court list: Dog mistreters, speedsters and – as usual – drink drivers

Plymouth Magistrate’s Court has again been busy with all manner of ne’er do wells, chancers and poor decision makers

Among the latest clutch of wastrels, scallywags and truculent scoundrels who have been brought before the beak have been two men who felt it entirely appropriate to allow unnecessary suffering to two dogs.

The magistrates also dealt with the usual slew of motorists who still feel they are entitled to have a few glasses of something alcoholic – or a few lines of something Columbian or a few tokes of something herbal – before getting behind the wheel of a car.

Similarly, there’s always one or two who think that not giving breathing into the breathalyser when asked will see them evade a fine – only to find out they’ll be hit even harder by the courts.
