The UK’s 20 favorite dog breeds by each city have been revealed in a new study — and Golden and Labrador Retrievers have dominated the list.
For the research, the team at LoveCrafts.com analyzed Google Search Trend data to discover which dog breed is most popular across the UK, after more people started searching for pups during lockdown.
Border Terriers were found to be London’s favorite breed, while over in Glasgow, Beagles came out on top. Other breeds to make the top 20 include Pugs, the lively Jack Russell and beautiful German Shepherds.
Edward Griffith, founder of LoveCrafts.com, said: “We are a nation of dog lovers! With more people working from home or furloughed, it’s removed one of the barriers to owning one – time. It’s not surprising many made the decision to welcome a four-legged friend into their lives.”
